LuXocial HQ ("HQ", "we") is the content planning and publishing platform of LuXocial, a video marketing agency. Businesses that work with LuXocial use HQ to plan, approve and schedule their videos and to publish them to social accounts they connect themselves.
What we collect
- Connected social accounts: when you connect Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Threads, Pinterest, Reddit or Discord, we receive an access token, your account ID, username and basic profile details (name, profile picture), and the permissions you approved.
- Content: the videos, images, captions and schedule that you or LuXocial prepare for publishing, and the links/IDs of posts after they are published.
- Basic performance data for your own posts and account (e.g. views, likes, followers), when the platform provides it, to report results to you.
How we use it
- Only to publish and schedule the content you approved, to your own accounts, and to show you its results.
- We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.
- We do not read or store other people's content.
YouTube API Services
HQ uses the YouTube API Services to upload videos you approved to your own YouTube channel and to show you basic statistics of those videos. By connecting a YouTube channel you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
- Data we access: your channel ID, title, thumbnail and subscriber count, and the IDs, privacy status and statistics (views, likes, comments count) of videos uploaded through HQ.
- How we use it: only to upload your approved videos and to show you their results inside HQ. We don't share YouTube data with third parties.
- Storage: OAuth tokens are stored encrypted; video statistics are refreshed at least every 30 days and are deleted when you disconnect.
- Revoking access: "Disconnect" in HQ immediately deletes the access token and YouTube data we stored. To fully revoke LuXocial HQ's access to your Google Account, use your Google Account security settings: myaccount.google.com/connections (also security.google.com/settings/security/permissions).
- Deletion: when you disconnect or revoke access, we delete your YouTube tokens and stored YouTube data within 7 days; you can also request deletion at [email protected]. This removes HQ's copy only; it does not delete anything from YouTube itself.
TikTok
When you connect a TikTok account with "Log in with TikTok" we receive, with your permission: your open ID, display name, avatar and username; your follower, following, likes and video counts; and the list of your public videos with their basic statistics (views, likes, comments, shares). We also receive an access token, which we store encrypted.
- How we use it: to show you which TikTok account you are posting to, to upload or publish the videos you approved to that account (as a draft in your TikTok inbox or as a direct post, as you choose for each video), to show the post's status, and to show you your account's results in HQ.
- What we send to TikTok: only the video or photos, caption and post settings you confirmed for that post.
- Sharing: we do not sell or share TikTok data with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.
- Retention and deletion: statistics are refreshed daily. When you disconnect TikTok in HQ we delete the token immediately and the stored TikTok data within 7 days. You can also remove LuXocial HQ in the TikTok app: Settings and privacy, then Security, then Apps and services permissions. Or email [email protected].
Storage and security
Access tokens are stored encrypted on our servers and are used only by HQ's publishing service. Video files uploaded for publishing are deleted automatically 30 days after they are published.
Your choices
- You can disconnect any account at any time from HQ, or by removing LuXocial HQ from the connected-apps settings of the platform itself.
- You can ask us to delete all data we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. We delete it within 30 days. Deauthorization or data-deletion requests sent to us by a platform are handled the same way.
